Rainer Ebeling has been working with Theologischer Schulungs-Service since 2004. In 1974 he married Marianne and they have four grown children (three daughters and a son). They live in Salmsach at Lake Constance / Switzerland. Rainer Ebeling has pastored in Germany and Switzerland and ministers as a volunteer with other mission associations.

Rainer Ebeling got his theological training at the Baptist Seminary in Hamburg /Germany, at the Baptist Seminary in Rueschlikon / Switzerland, as well as at the University in Zurich / Switzerland. In 1995 he earned his doctorate based in his study of the German martyr Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945).
